Chopping Mall is a big old slice of 1980s cheese from the absurdly prolific director Jim Wynorski. This jokey tagline perfectly conveys the movie's appeal.
Chopping Mall was originally released as
Killbots, which isn't nearly as evocative a title.
Included in that genre cast to die for is sometimes director Paul Bartel, whose directorial debut
Private Parts (1972) is a quirky, underappreciated gem well worth seeking out.
